Winter 2024 Fluid Mechanics Projects
A repository of stellar student work
Dr. Berry provides an optional opportunity for students to "personalize" their learning in MECH-322 Fluid Mechanics. To replace the final exam, students can select a topic of interest to study in more depth that must have a clear personal interest and connection, must apply Fluid Mechanics concepts, and must have a clear connection to Environmental Sustainability.
Students are required to provide a PowerPoint presentation, video introduction, and a final report. Attached herein are a few of those projects for your enjoyment.
Sustainable Alternative Aviation Fuels Analysis, by Remington Steenwyk
Model Car Aerodynamics and Effect of Vortex Generators, by Adam Meyer and Corben Yates
Optimization of Energy Systems Lab Wind Tunnel, by Kenteya Stubbs and Felipe Villalobos
Wind Tunnel Design and Controls via Arduino FreeRTOS, by Chris Ciak
